Bar de Copa 26 is a pop-up cocktail bar in Hanchi Punda — the painted hanchi between Hanchi Snoa and Madurostraat, in the historic heart of Willemstad, Curaçao. We're open for thirty-nine days in summer 2026 and then we're gone.
Why a pop-up?
Because a season has more energy than a forever. Because thirty-eight seats in a single small room forces good conversation. Because the best places we've been in our lives weren't always there — they were there for a moment, and we still talk about them.
Bar de Copa 26 is the bar we wanted to find when we walked Punda at dusk. No tourist menu. No plastic palm trees. Just five signature drinks built around fresh fruit and good spirits, a bartender who knows your second round before you order it, and music that ends when they shut us down.
What you'll find inside
- Thirty-eight seats. Walk-ins first. If we're full, come back in twenty minutes — most rounds turn quickly.
- Five signature cocktails — Oranja Boven, Fresh Pitch, La Bandera, Red Card, and Tamarindoooo. Built on Dutch gin, Caribbean rum, tequila, whiskey, and fresh fruit pulled in that morning.
- Two bar snacks made for the drink in your hand: Cajun-style boiled peanuts and fresh popcorn in four flavours.
- Cold ice, real citrus, no shortcuts. Every drink the way it should be.
The neighbourhood
Hanchi Punda is the painted alley behind the Handelskade waterfront. It runs north from Hanchi Snoa, past Madurostraat, deep into the historic UNESCO-listed centre of Willemstad. It's the part of Punda you wander into by accident and never quite leave.
You'll find us at Kuiperstraat 10 — the hanchi between Tik-Tak and Lola. If you've walked Punda before, you know the kind of door. If you haven't, the route in is laid out here.
