Hidden in the heart of Punda.
We're on Kuiperstraat 10 — the hanchi between Tik-Tak and Lola, two minutes' walk from the painted Handelskade in either direction. If you know Hanchi Punda, you already know the door.
Hours
- Monday: 16:00 – 24:00
- Tuesday: 16:00 – 24:00
- Wednesday: 16:00 – 24:00
- Thursday: 16:00 – 01:00 (the late one)
- Friday: closed for Sabbath — except early World Cup kickoffs: doors ~14:00, hard close 17:30
- Saturday: 20:00 – 02:00 (post-Sabbath)
- Sunday: closed (our rest day) — except World Cup game days, doors 1h before kickoff
All times Atlantic Standard Time (AST · GMT-4). During the World Cup (June 11 – July 19) hours flex daily around kickoffs — the live status pill on the homepage always shows today's real hours. The bar pours until the music stops or the bridge swings open — whichever happens first.
Getting here
On foot: Cross the Queen Emma Bridge from Otrobanda or arrive from the south side via Handelskade. Walk into Hanchi Punda — the painted hanchi (alley) cuts behind the waterfront houses. Look for our door between Tik-Tak and Lola.
By car: Park along Pietermaai or near the Plasa Bieu lot; everything in Punda is within five minutes on foot once you're inside the historic centre.
From Hato Airport: 15–20 minutes by taxi or rental. Tell your driver "Punda, Hanchi Snoa side" — they'll know.
How to book
Bar de Copa 26 is walk-ins first. We don't take traditional reservations — 38 seats fill in waves and we want everyone to get a fair shot. If you're a group of 6+ or you're planning around an anniversary, message us on WhatsApp and we'll do what we can.
Accessibility & payment
Hanchi Punda is a historic alley with cobble and one small step at our entrance. We have a single ground-floor restroom (gender-neutral). We accept major cards, Bistro, and cash in XCG and USD. There is free Wi-Fi if you ask the bar nicely. We're 18+ only.
